it's been a while since I stayed at this hotel/casino here in Louisiana. I'm delighted and slightly ooged out that this place is still rocking the creepy tropical bird decor. the oog part is that I know this tropical decor is a remnant from when this place was called "the Isle of Capri Hotel & Casino" it has long since turned into "Diamond Jacks Hotel & Casino", which has NOTHING tropical about it. other than the left over wallpaper/curtains from the Isle of Capri days. You guys are your silliness. Good one.

I found these multi-colored pipes outside a building in the northeast heights and just loved them! I considered returning the next morning to get them in better light but I realized due to their location largely on the north side of the building and with an angled portion of the building to the east, lighting would still be an issue. Still, I may try to get them in the middle of the summer in the middle of the day for the best possible chance of a great shot.
