Everything is sort of haphazardly squeezed in, no real thought as to aesthetics. This living situation is just temporary, after all.
My parents got me that bed frame a few years ago; I love it. I desperately need a new mattress, though. Might just buy a big fluffy pillow top to get a few more years out of it.
The dressers, nightstand, and mirror were my Nana's. I'd like to sand them down and repaint them a dark brown/almost black color. Like this. I also want to replace the drawer handles.

I love love love this desk. I also have a dresser that matches it (it's in my mom's work room at the moment). They were also my Nana's. Both the desk and dresser are beat up, so I want to repaint them as well.
I'm hoping my future place has an extra room or space that I can make my office, since I don't really like having my computer crammed into a bedroom. I'm tempted to paint the set a fun color... like a deep red or something. We'll see.

This is a photo of Börshuset at Gustaf Adolfs Torg, Göteborg.
I have always wondered about the sculptures on the roof...
Turns out that it is "the pillars of the city", guess I miss out some in translation here, but from left to right It is:
Former Stock Exchange. Constructed 1844-49. Today it provides the city with a place to hold large banquets, balls and receptions. At the front there are 6 sculptures symbolizing the labouriousness, the hapieness, the trade, the shipping, the richness and the industry.
If you are visiting Gotenburg as a tourist, try to take a tour inside - it's one of the most beautiful houses in the city.
The house is also used for Kommunfullmäktige (City Counsil) meetings.
Photo is stitched in Autopano Pro
